Specification for Time Synchronization and Definition of the TS-Clock Object
Accurate time synchronization is essential within a fab for collecting and analyzing processing data as well as enabling smooth workflow between production equipments.
This standard SEMI E148 defines the requirements for every computing device clock in a fab that needs to be synchronized. It specifies a time synchronization protocol and introduces the Time Synchronization Clock Object (TS-Clock) exceeding the basic Clock capabilities stated in the GEM standard SEMI E30.
