Innovations Forum for Automation 2019

Join AIS Automation at the 16th Innovation Forum for Automation

Industry buzzwords like Digitization, Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (IoT) are driving demand for new products, technologies and software. This brings a lot of activity and benefit to the entire Silicon Saxony ecosystem. BOSCH has begun construction on their new 300 mm fab in the north of Dresden and buildings are rapidly emerging. More than 1 billion € will be invested in their new fab with processing of the first microchips set to begin in 2020. Saxony fabs like Infineon, Siltronic, Globalfoundries, X-Fab and others continue working hard to increase their production capacity in order to meet these demands in the semiconductor industry.

In other news, the “Smart Systems Hub – Enabling IOT” within the “de:hub Initiative” in Dresden has officially begun and we believe this effort toward forming strong networks locally will result in valuable rewards for all stakeholders in this area.

Meet industry experts from Saxony – and all over the world – to learn more about the latest developments at the 16th Innovation Forum for Automation in Dresden.

The forum is brought to you by Automation Network Dresden (AND) whose member companies (AIS Automation, Fabmatics, SYSTEMA and XENON) are dedicated to bringing you the latest information on significant factory-automation projects as well as new automation technologies spanning various industries with a focus on semiconductor.

Please join us in Dresden on January 24th & 25th, 2019. Once again, IAG/DGUV (link:,13.7735617,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x4709ceb9573672b3:0xdf853064ba712f44!8m2!3d51.106092!4d13.7757504) has graciously offered to host this event.
